I want to give some support to FIT researchers with a well focused but relaxed library workshop.
Date – possibly Wednesday 5th December from 10-11.30 am at GP Library.
I need your input – who wants to come & what you need to know. Possible topics :
- Journal Alerts to keep you up to date
- An introduction to Google’s citation analysis
- Hints at evidencing quality & impact of research publications
- Open Access journals – a brief overview copyright issues & increasing citations
- Endnote tips & tricks
- ?
Let me know if you’re interested & what you most need to know as I’ll focus on what is most useful & do my own research to ensure it’s worthwhile. Comments, thoughts & ideas welcomed.
